Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the essential backbone of Trout Unlimited. By volunteering for various Alpine Angler projects, you get to give a valuable helping hand while enjoying being out in some of the most beautiful scenery anywhere! Most of our projects involve working with Chris Kennedy of the US Fish & Wildlife Service. Chris works incredibly hard monitoring the trout populations within Rocky Mountain National Park. He will need volunteers once again for this 2010 season.

Learn what volunteering with the greenback recovery program is like. View this slide show compiled by Les Beery showing greenback volunteers at work.

To be added to our e-mail distribution list and receive notifications of volunteer opportunities, go to our contact page.

Here is Chris Kennedy's 2010 fieldwork schedule.

IMPORTANT: To prevent the spread of invasive species within the park, volunteers are required to disinfect wading gear. Here are the RMNP aquatic disinfection guidelines.

Other 2010 Volunteer opportunities:

June 5, 9:00 to 12:00 -- Big Thompson deck reconstruction  Join us for a TU day working on the handicapped deck on the Big Thompson.  For more information, visit our contact page.
